We spend about a third of our lives sleeping. When you spend this much time in bed, it’s worth your while to make it as comfortable as possible. Then choosing right fitted silk sheets becomes more critical as the fitted sheets play the role of preventing your flat sheet sliding off the bed and helping you have a more soft night-dream.

With that said, we should choose extra deep silk fitted sheets so that they can cover our beds completely. If you buy a mattress measured 180x200cm, then your fitted sheet must be 180x200x25cm to work with the mattress correctly. How can we measure a fitted sheet precisely? We can use a ruler or fixed tape measure, measure the depth from the top seam to the bottom seam, in several places to be sure you have the right fit.

Two kinds of fitted sheets come into the market now: zippered fitted sheets vs. fitted sheets. Zippered fitted sheets can protect our mattress more entirely and can be removed for easy clean. But the zippered ones only serve smaller beds better, such as baby cribs because it’s hard for you to lift the regular large mattress by yourself. Fitted sheets without zippers are very suitable for old or single people because they don’t need to be put by raising the mattress.

Too hot to sleep in the summer? Too cold to sleep in winter? I believe all of us have been in such a dilemma. To sleep well, the temperature of your room and comforter is critical.

Research says that the ideal sleeping environment commands 33±１℃ in temperature and 50±５％（RH）in humidity. So the judgment standard on a great comforter is to see if it can maintain a very stable temperature and will do an excellent job of balancing humidity. Silk comforter has a proper function of absorbing and liberating moisture, so it can make your sleeping environment stay at more constant temperature than most comforters in other fabric.

1. Absorb the moisture quickly to adjust the temperature

It is said that we may sweat almost 200cc when sleeping. So, the breathability of a comforter is essential for a comfortable sleeping environment. Silk fibroin peptide chain consists of lots of hydrophile groups, so the hygroscopicity of silk is 1.5 times better than that of cotton fiber. Silk can absorb and emit human body sweat quickly and liberate the moisture more rapidly than other fibers. That is why silk comforter help keeps human body temperature at a more constant temperature throughout the night.

2. Save the warm air to adjust the temperature

What is more, silk comforters are designed to allow air to flow more freely and thus regulate your body heat. The result is your body stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

Although silk comforter is a little expensive, it has so many benefits such as regulating temperature and its breathability. So buy yourself a silk comforter to have a restful sleep. 

Yes, but not to the degree that you will be able to notice. Duvet covers are not designed to keep heat, although an extra layer of silk will undoubtedly help retain some excess heat inside. The purpose of duvet covers is two-fold: to protect the comforter it keeps inside itself from dust and other possible sources of pollution, as comforters are usually difficult, if not impossible, to wash frequently; and to provide an aesthetically pleasing layer over the often plain and non-decorated comforters to match with the rest of the bedroom decor. Our silk duvet cover also provides protection against skin abrasions and helps with thermal regulation, but in the end, you should not rely on duvet covers for warmth. 

You can open/close the duvet cover using the hidden zipper placed under the top edge of the cover.  There are three advantages to using hidden zippers on duvet covers:

Using a regular zipper placed on the surface/edge of the duvet cover can break or weaken the sense of luxury of the cover.
Hidden zippers are covered with a layer of silk which makes it less likely to cause abrasions on your skin.
The cover that protects your skin also protects the zipper from breaking, granting longer-lifespan to the zipper and less trouble for you.

As part of orders fulfilled directly from our warehouse in China, please reserve 7-20 days for standard international transition service. The silk sheets items are ready for use. While silk always wrinkles easily after packaging and shipping. The wrinkles will disappear after hours of air. You could also wash them before first use. Make it smooth without wrinkles and smells better:)

We’d suggest that you scrutinize the item after receiving if all right then you could have them washed if you like. Iron when slightly damp using a cool setting. Always iron on the inside. 

Here is some silk care notice for you. I hope it will help.

-Never wash silk with chlorine bleach. It could damage the natural fibers

-Avoid drying silk in direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure can cause damage or fading

-Never tumble dry silk – the heat can also cause damage or shrinking

-Use a mild, non-biological detergent. A detergent specially designed for the purpose is best for washing silk

When you are facing the problem that transaction was declined and unable to make the payment with your credit card.

We’d suggest that you try below:

Call your issuing bank to clear up any problems that are causing the card to be declined. Once the issuing bank confirms that they will approve future attempts, you could try the transaction again. Try the transaction by Paypal if possible.

Products shipped from China

For customers buying a product with the “Shipped Locally” logo, VAT is included in the product price and no import duties will be added by the destination country.

 Chinese Holidays Reminder During week-long Chinese holidays, Chinese National Day (October 1) and Chinese New Year (January 28), services from certain suppliers and carriers may be affected, meaning that deliveries for order placed around these holidays may be delayed 2-4 days.

For defective, damaged, or miss-shipped items (the item shipped was not the item ordered), the issue must be reported within 14 days upon receiving the shipment. Please provide credible pictures or videos to show the defect, damage or proof of miss-shipment during your return request. Once this has been verified, you can return the items with our authorization. Return shipping fees will be prepaid on your part and reimbursed by us during refund upon presentation of the shipping receipt. (Note: Refunds for the return shipping fees are calculated using the lowest cost shipping method. Items returned via expedited shipping methods will only be refunded an amount equal to the most economical cost shipping method).

You will receive a replacement or the full refund for defective, damaged, or miss-shipped items. For all other returns, shipping and handling fees will not be refunded.
