ABOUT PROMEED
We are traditional silk textile craftsmen, living in a small town in the south of the Yangtze River, where the climate is warm and humid, far away from the hustle and bustle, and it is the best place to raise silkworms. Therefore, people in the small town make a living by raising silkworms and weaving textiles. The original ecological living environment has created a laid-back lifestyle here.
Experienced craftsmen found that modern industrial textile technology removed more than 90% of sericin in order to pursue the gloss of fabrics. Sericin is rich in silk protein, which is also the main factor for the moisturizing effect of silk. Therefore, we combined the traditional manufacturing techniques to retain a large amount of sericin in the process of processing sericin, which increased the silk protein content by 300%, and used the weaving method of adding an extra warp thread in the weaving process to make the fabric glossy. And the smoothness has been doubled.
With the progress of the times, women not only exist to play the roles of wives and mothers, but they are active in various industries, and they are so busy eliminating the doubting eyes of others that they forget themselves. We hope that through the brand Promeed, urban women can feel the pure life from a small town in the south of the Yangtze River.
Promeed comes from "Promesa" in Spanish, we hope that every woman can Promeed herself a pure life---slow down things, feel life, rejuvenate yourself.
